Overall, our stay at Angsana was great. The hospitality of the hotel staff was warm and friendly, and the private beach was truly amazing!
One area for improvement would be the resort’s interior. The overall feel of the place is a little dated and worn out. For the price point, we expected it to looked more “refreshed “

Staff are smiley and will greet or smile. However should maybe brief staff so that they are well versed or knowledgeable to handle queries confidently.
Also to improve on the speed of requests via face to face ordering or watsapps.
Otherwise overall was satisfactory.

Service staff was friendly and smiley. They upgraded us to a suite which was very much appreciated. I have indicated that the stay was for my son's Birthday and was welcomed by the nice decoration and cake which my son enjoyed very much. The Kids Club is quite small. Varieties for breakfast can be improved and the restaurant felt uncomfortably warm with some flies flying around. The massage at the spa was good and we were served a nice pot of tea with yogurt and fruits after treatment.

Excellent service from the concierge to the servers to the spa staff. They are also very accommodating. They made an effort to speak in english eventhough I spoke in their local language. Also fast responses when we communicated via email. Liked the room I was given as well due to the unobstructed view of the sea. However, The resort could use with more lights at the pathway as its still quite dark when walking about the resort at night.

As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort.
But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose.
There are activities that can be in and around the resort.
First time tried kayaking and archery.
All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out.
I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

Entire hotel needs an upgrade beginning with wifi. Wifi was Highly erratic n it was better to use own mobile plan throughout. Rice quality in angsana lobby bistro was extremely poor n dry in taste n texture and because rice was the staple for many main dishes , the quality of food was badly compromised throughout. Our best meals were found in treetops banyan tree resort eventually. The staff at angsana cassia n banyan were all excellent n well-trained from porter to electrician. Service was always prompt n one could tell that they truly enjoyed their work :)

get food and living conditions within the resort, but not much to do outside or nearby
bring insect repellent as places in tropical climate usually have mosquitoes
bring sunblock if you are concern of getting sunburn while out on the beach
